Following a sold-out New York City preview run at 59E59's East to Edinburgh Festival, A Eulogy For Roman made its official world premiere at the 75th Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2022.

 

Writer and solo performer Brendan George leads as Milo, a young man who travels from The United States to Edinburgh with an urn and a promise – to eulogize the recent death of his childhood best friend. Milo and his guests join to complete the memorial; together they confront death, celebrate life, and make a promise of their own… After 60 whirlwind minutes, audiences are guaranteed a darkly comedic coming-of-age tale that will linger long after they’ve left the theatre.
